Lt (R) Hajjah Suryati was commissioned as an officer in the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) in December 1986. Her military career gave her direct access to Malaysia's maritime and defence institutional networks — relationships that are built over decades of service and that no advisory relationship can replicate without them.
After her military service, she founded Global Atlas — an MRO marine engineering and security company — translating her defence sector expertise into commercial enterprise. She is also an Executive Committee Member of Yayasan Amal Malaysia, where she contributes to disaster management and urban poor children education programmes in Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur.
At Mahat Advisory, Lt (R) Hajjah Suryati provides the sectoral access and institutional relationship architecture for maritime and defence mandates — opening doors that the advisory practice alone cannot open, and validating Mahat Advisory's presence in a sector that requires demonstrated standing to enter.
Contact Mahat Advisory for maritime and defence sector advisory. Lt (R) Hajjah Suryati's involvement provides the institutional access for mandates requiring established defence and maritime sector relationships.
